ウェブサイトのブラッシュアップ、ブログ始動のかたわらで、機関誌2号の執筆・編集作業も進行中です。
刊行予定は9月下旬で、特集テーマは、「日本のデザインとミュージアムのいま」となります。
今回の特集では、メンバーが厳選した現存する日本のミュージアム約10館について、デザイン＆ミュージアム・リンク独自の視点による調査・紹介を行います。「単なる「ミュージアム・ガイド」にならないよう、「デザイン＝モノ＋コト」と「ミュージアム＝場所＋活動」の現状を批評的に論じ、それらに関する「見取り図」を読者に示す内容となります。
また、これを踏まえ、ミュージアムの現状と最新情況、ミュージアム環境における「デザインの見方」、本文では集約しきれない施設、特化されたテーマ、展望などについて、メンバー5人とゲスト2名が論じる「座談会」を8月に開催し、その内容も特集ページに収録します。

While brushing up the website and starting the D&ML's blog,
we are now in the midst of editing the new
issue of the periodical magazine.
Date of issue
is scheduled in the end of this September,
and title of the feature article would be
"Japanese Design and Museum Today."
In this feature article, some ten existing
Japanese museums are planned to be introduced.
In order not to make it as a mere
"museum guide," we are making
exclusive research on the selected
examples, which would be analyzed from our
unique viewpoints. That is to say,
we are aiming at a compilation of short
critical essays reconsidering "design
= objects + affairs" in "museum
environment = site + activities." Hence,
it should give the readers " sketches
and plans"to understand contemporary
Japanese design and museum.
Furthermore, in August, we will hold a discussion meeting inviting two guests
so as to talk about the present and the
latest situation of the museum world, how
to view design in museum environment, other
examples that could not be covered in the
main texts, and various topics and prospects
of museum and design. It goes without
saying that contents of the discussion would
appear as additional texts in the feature
article.
