「モノ評・コト評」とは?

モノ評・コト評

わたしたちの「活動・理念」の指針として掲げた「デザイン＆ミュージアム・リンクの理念－第8条」で記したように、デザイン＆ミュージアム・リンクは、「デザイン批評、デザイン・ジャーナリズムの新たな発表の場を生み出す」ことも目ざしています。その手段のひとつが機関誌『Design & Museum Link』であり、ウェブサイト――なかでも、この「モノ評・コト評」が、いわば併走する第二の幹線であることは、いうまでもありません。

とはいえ、印刷媒体と電子メディアは性質が大きく異なるので、それを鑑みて、両者がサイド・バイ・サイドで「よりよい競合」をできるよう、ここでは機関誌では取り上げていない、あるいはむしろウェブ向けのテーマを選び、メンバーとリンク・メンバーが独自の視点で自由に綴る「ショート評」を連続的に掲載します。

取り上げる内容によって、ふたつのサブ・ページに分け、「モノ系」では、新登場や定番モノ、発掘・復刻された製品、映像、音源、新刊・旧刊書など、「コト系」では、展覧会、各種イヴェント、さまざまなデザイン事象の「レヴュー/プレヴュー」をお届けします。

What's this Page?

As we have mentioned in "Our Mission - Article 8" shown in the "Activity and Mission" page, "to create a new platform for design criticism and jouranlism" is one of the aims of our activity. While the periodical magazine "Design & Museum Link" is the main media for our presentation, the website, especially this "Review/Preview" page is situated as the second important line that runs parallel with the periodical.

Of course, printed media and that electronic are quite different; it would be the best for us if we can manage to let them run side by side for effective presentation. Therefore, in this page, we are focusing on themes that are not covered in the periodical or those which are better to handle in the website.

Based on such an idea, here, we will continuously upload a series of short essays in two sub-pages, that is, "Products, Books and etc." covering reviews/previews on new released, the best known, the rediscovered and reproduced products, moving images, sound sources, books and etc., and "Exhibits, Events and etc." referring to exhibitions, a range of events and other design related affairs.
